The US sportswear company Nike has reorganized several management positions.
Former Chief Design Officer John Hoke will take on the role of Chief Innovation Officer effective immediately, Nike announced on Tuesday. In this position, the 30-year Nike veteran works with Innovation President Tom Clarke. The aim is to strengthen and accelerate Nike’s innovation strategy and profile.
Hoke’s successor as Chief Design Officer is Martin Lotti, who also comes from our own ranks. Most recently, he was Chief Design Officer within the sporting goods group for the Jordan brand. In his new position, he is responsible for all aspects of design – from shoes and apparel to brand and retail concepts.
At the beginning of 2024, Nike will have a new Chief Marketing Officer, Nicole Hubbard Graham, who will be responsible for the Global Brand Marketing Team. She is also a company veteran with 18 years at Nike. To date, she has held various marketing management positions within the company. She succeeds Dirk-Jan van Hameren, who is retiring next summer after 31 years with the company.
“Innovation, design and storytelling have always been the heart and soul of Nike. These leadership changes allow us to further advance our unparalleled innovation, product, design and storytelling to redefine sports for the next generation of athletes,” said Heidi O’Neill, President, Consumer, Product and Brand at Nike . “Together, these leaders will deliver new levels of performance, style and groundbreaking storytelling for consumers around the world.”
Hoke, Lotti and Graham report to O’Neill.
