CB Insights has published a current list of the largest German unicorns in terms of their market value. This list only includes companies that are neither listed nor holding companies or investment companies, but whose market valuation is more than one billion US dollars. Personio, a company that offers software for HR management and recruiting, secured third place and thus the bronze medal in the current ranking of the largest German unicorns. Personio joined the unicorn club in January 2021 and currently has a valuation of $8.5 billion.
