Keith Richards promises that there will be new music until the end of the Stones.
The Rolling Stones plan to continue producing albums as long as they can. According to Keith Richards, there is still “a lot of leftover material” from their new album HACKNEY DIAMONDS.
Richards also said in the interview with “SiriusXM NPR” that there will always be new records “until we can’t anymore.”
“We’re totally into it!”
Richards said specifically: “We can rest for a while, but we are fully committed. That’s what we do. We have to get through this Rolling Stones.” Despite his advanced age, he doesn’t plan to stop performing live because he still loves it. Music keeps him active and inspires him to discover new ways to play. Richards will be 80 years old in December.
Ronnie Wood also revealed in a conversation with “NME” that there should be another song with Paul McCartney that the band is saving for future releases.
