1907 Fenerbahçe Association and 1907 ÜNİFEB, who visited Anıtkabir on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic, and 3,500 students from all over Turkey visited Anıtkabir on the 85th anniversary of his death. Yellow-dark blue fans walked on the lion path and left flowers at the mausoleum, and observed a moment of silence in the spiritual presence of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Fenerbahçe fans also visited the Anıtkabir Command following Ata’s appearance.
Rıfat Perahya, chairman of the fan group’s board of directors, said, “Great Atatürk, Fenerbahçe, the symbol of sports and Turkish youth, and us, the millions of fans who devote their hearts to these colors, are indomitable followers of your principles and reforms, and strong guardians of the Republic, which is your greatest legacy.”
