Seghwaert – The Bridge

In 1969 the primary technical school De Brug opened on the Du Meelaan. Later, the Lower Agricultural School was added. The school turned out to be too small, so De Brug was given a new building at Van Doornenplantsoen.

In 1993 De Brug merged with the Public Seghwaert Mavo and the secondary school Seghwaert – De Brug was created. In 1995 another merger between four other schools in Zoetermeer: Pallas College, Emmaus Mavo, Petrus College and Seghwaert-De Brug. These four schools continued under the name: Stedelijk College Zoetermeer. After even more mergers, the Beroespcollege is now finally housed in the building at Van Doornenplantsoen.
