UN: At least 64 civilian deaths in Ukraine

At least 240 civilians have been killed since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which began on Thursday, according to the United Nations. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said on Saturday (local time) that at least 64 of them were killed. “But the real numbers are probably higher,” warns OCHA.

The damage to homes and infrastructure has left hundreds of thousands of citizens without electricity or water, the agency said.
