‘Israeli night-time attack waves kill dozens of Palestinians in different parts of Gaza’

Israeli airstrikes killed dozens of Palestinians again in several parts of the Gaza Strip in the night from Friday to Saturday, news channel Al Jazeera and WAFA, the Palestinian Authority news agency. Precise death tolls were not released, but the airstrikes are said to have continued throughout the night. The information is for NRC cannot be independently verified.

WAFA reports Israeli bombings in western Gaza, including in Jabalia, Beit Hanoun, Atatra, al-Sudaniya. The southern Khan Younis, the northern Beit Lahiya and Gaza City, in the al-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City were also under fire. The area surrounding the Indonesian hospital in the city of Bait Lahia was also hit again. The Israeli army is also said to have again bombed homes in the Nuseirat and Bureij refugee camps.

Images of human flesh
Last night, the Israeli army also fired on a school in Gaza City, killing at least twenty people. The United Nations-provided school, located in the Al-Saftawi area north of Gaza City, is currently home to thousands of displaced Palestinians seeking shelter from deadly Israeli attacks. Up ahead NRC unverified footage shows the walls of the Osama bin Zaid school are covered in blood and rescue workers collect human flesh from victims.

In the meantime, the usual nighttime raids carried out by the Israeli army in the West Bank continue. So reports Al Jazeera multiple raids just before sunrise in Nablus, Jenin, Hebron and Bethlehem. The raids have taken place at the same time every morning in recent days in different areas of the occupied West Bank.

UN chief Guterres ‘shocked’ by Israeli attack on ambulance

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres was “shocked” by an Israeli attack on an ambulance at a hospital in the Gaza Strip on Friday. Fifteen people were killed and more than sixty were injured, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

“The images of bodies lying on the street outside the hospital are harrowing,” Guterres said of the attack. He says he has “not forgotten the terrorist attacks by Hamas in Israel,” but “at the same time, civilians, including women and children, in Gaza have been under siege for almost a month, denied aid, killed and bombed.”

The Israeli military confirmed the attack on the ambulance, saying Hamas used it to transport fighters and weapons.
