Storm Ciarán made waves in the province on Thursday. For those hoping for a positive weather change after the storm, Johnny Willemsen from Weerplaza has bad news. That is not available yet.
This Friday morning started rainy and quite cold. “It was about 8 degrees around seven o’clock and there was still quite a bit of wind,” the Weerplaza weatherman said on Friday morning in the radio program ‘WAKKER!’ on Omroep Brabant. “That’s why it felt like it was only about 4 degrees early in the morning.”
“We hardly get to see the sun on Saturday.”
The rain will gradually move to the east during the morning. “Later in the morning and also in the afternoon it will be dry, except for a few showers. Maybe we will see some sun.”
Anyone hoping that this will bring about a change in the weather will have to disappoint Johnny. “It remains quite wet. Saturday will still start dry, but then it will rain heavily again at the end of the morning and beginning of the afternoon. We will hardly see the sun on Saturday.”
“Chance of a rainbow.”
On Sunday we have to take into account an alternation of showers and sun. “With a chance of a rainbow.” The temperature will be around 12 degrees on both Saturday and Sunday. “There is quite a bit of wind.”
Johnny doesn’t expect much better weather next week. “It remains changeable. The temperature does not change much. At 12 degrees, it is very normal for the beginning of November.”
