Now the Federal Environment Minister even has Tinder!

Steffi Lemke (55, Green Party) has criticized statements by climate activist Greta Thunberg (20) and the climate protection movement “Fridays for Future” (FFF) on Israel’s war against Hamas.

“The unspeakable statements by Greta Thunberg and ‘Fridays For Future International’ about the terrorist attack on Israel destroy the great trust that many, especially young people, have in the integrity of the movement,” Lemke told the “Editorial Network Germany” (RND ).

About a week ago, Thunberg, who co-founded the FFF, called for a strike in solidarity with the Palestinians on social networks, causing outrage.

On Friday she stood up for the Palestinians again: “Justice for Palestine,” said a sign that the 20-year-old held in her hands during her Friday climate protest in front of the Swedish parliament in Stockholm.

On Instagram, the international “Fridays for Future” account also shocked people with sheer hatred of Israel and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, and also used Hamas propaganda.

Environment Minister Lemke said that it was therefore right and “urgently necessary” for FFF Germany and its frontwoman Luisa Neubauer (27) to distance themselves from it.

The German Press Agency quotes “German Greta” as saying: “Our full solidarity goes out to Jews worldwide, and we strongly condemn Hamas’ terror. We strongly distance ourselves from the anti-Semitic posts on international channels.”
