7 x this is what the front gardens of Zoetermeer look like on Halloween

Take a tour through Zoetermeer and you will come across one decorated Halloween garden after another. That couldn’t be otherwise with a nickname like Halloween City or Thriller City!

After our call, a number of Zoetermeer residents sent a photo of their decorated front garden. Hollowed-out pumpkins, pink skeletons, spider webs and ghosts decorate the city. Are you creepy?

Noordhove

Harry Hilgersom lives in the Noordhove district. Especially for Halloween, he has decorated his front yard with a huge spider web, a broom with a witch’s hat and a terrifying Halloween pumpkin. “We decorated it with passion, but for October 31 we will make it a little more exciting with scary music, fog and lighting. I wonder if they still dare to enter!”

Bronze green in Rokkeveen

In the Bronsgroen street, the neighborhood is very cheerful. A number of residents celebrate Halloween together every year. They keep the decoration of their houses child-friendly. “We hold a treasure hunt for the children and some houses are illuminated in the evening,” says resident Juvienne Luydens.

Fancy an exciting evening? Then visit Tina and Sander’s front garden on Saturday evening, October 28. Together with the neighborhood, they have turned the Vijverdreef into a horror street. Clowns, a gravestone, pumpkins, spiders and other nasty creatures decorate the street.
