The United States has promised Ukraine additional support to defend itself against the Russian invasion. The new package, worth 150 million dollars (about 142 million euros), includes AIM-9 missiles for an anti-aircraft system, Stinger missiles and ammunition for multiple rocket launchers of the Himars type, the US government said on Thursday.
