Barcelona simply should have closed things down sooner, the chances were there. So in the end you let the opponent get to a goal again and have to tremble. But that’s complaining at a high level. Barca’s squad was very weak but they still dominated their opponents for long stretches, so all in all I’m very happy with the performance.
Fermin Lopez showed today that he is a force to be reckoned with, I can easily imagine him being part of the extended squad in the near future – today he showed what he can do with a lot of wit and courage.
And a word about Gündogan: It’s just a feast for the eyes to see him in a Barca uniform. The assist to Lopez for the first goal alone was absolutely great, that’s exactly what he’s there for. Currently one of my favorite players in blaugrana.
