Actor Christian Kohlund (73, “Zurich Crime”) finds it difficult to talk about entertainment given the current tensions and catastrophes in the world.
“The events show everyone who is interested in world events how poor, powerless and helpless we are in the face of this situation,” Kohlund told the German Press Agency. He has the impression that all politicians’ failures to “get something on track” are now falling at people’s feet. “And above all, nature seems to show us apocalyptically how unimportant we actually are,” said Kohlund. “I am absolutely at a loss as to how to solve these problems.”
Nevertheless, entertainment such as TV crime dramas is important so that people can switch off sometimes, said Kohlund. “Otherwise we will all fall into the deepest depression.” The new “Zurich crime thriller” with the title “Borchert and murder without atonement” will be shown on Thursday (October 26th) at 8:15 p.m. on Erste.
