If anything at the moment cringe is on television, then it is the parodies in Paul de Leeuw’s Saturday hotel show. Into that section Hotel Hollandia has become a little less political and a little more showbiz and that is why there was also a parody of Eva Jinek last night. She was allowed to interview an impersonator of Mick Jagger in the program.

Rock god

Eva states at one point that Mick, at the age of 80, is a little too old for a full life rock and roll. “You are 80 years old, of course it is undeniably logical that when you are 80 years old, you no longer have sex, right? The river is dry. Then you would probably prefer to take a ride on an electric bicycle.”

Then Mick walks up to Eva and starts harassing her: “You know, what I do know is that we are sitting here in a hotel room together, you and I. A beautiful woman and a legendary rock god.”

Eva flees

The fake Eva is clearly uncomfortable and shows it: “I hear what you’re saying, Mick, I find it very flattering too, but I just had a baby.” Then: “This is not desirable. Mick, please. No, let me.”

In other words: transgressive behavior on television. Mick: “Don’t get angry with meEva.”

The fake Eva a little later at the bar: “I like it, of course, but I already have two in diapers at home. I don’t feel the need for another one.”

Champions League

At that same bar, Eva gets a pretty nasty joke. The fake Eva: “Look, if you release your best album, you will of course also be interviewed by the best, so you end up with me. In the Champions League.”

Then Mick, pointing to her viewing figures in recent years: “Yes, Champions League, but let’s score!”

Transgressive behavior and a mean joke: what a warm welcome for Eva at the NPO…
