After the Palestinian demonstration ended on Saturday evening at around 7 p.m. at Hermannplatz, Israel haters again moved to Sonnenallee.
Despite the ban on demonstrations, there have been repeated pro-Palestinian gatherings and outbreaks of violence in Berlin in the past few days, including on Sonnenallee.
The Berlin police are on site in Neukölln with a large contingent, including federal police forces. After firecrackers were thrown at the officers from the crowd, the emergency services began to push back the unauthorized gathering. There were chants of “Free Palestine” again from the crowd.

The police had previously asked the crowd to leave the place. The first arrests have already been made.
