Pinoké seemed to be on its way to a historic victory at SCHC last night, but ultimately lost 2-1 in Bilthoven. The forest derby between Hurley and national champion Amsterdam was won convincingly by the visitors: 1-4. In an attractive cellar-cracker, Rotterdam and Bloemendaal share the points after a 3-3 draw. At Den Bosch, Fréderique Matla achieved another special milestone. The hockey player from Bussum scored her 200th goal in the service of the Brabanders.

  • SCHC – Pinoké 2-1
  • Hurley – Amsterdam 1-4
  • Rotterdam – Bloemendaal 3-3

The handball players from Volendam will play the return in the EHF European Cup tonight at 7 p.m. The Serbian Pancevo comes to visit Ssporthal Opperdam. Last week the North Hollanders won 30-33 in Serbia. This means that Volendam starts the match with a three-point lead.

In the Euro Cup, ZV De Zaan won the second group match against the Greek Glyfadas. The water polo players won 8-9 and thus recorded their first victory. This means that ZV De Zaan continues to follow in the footsteps of Padova and Lille. On Saturday, November 4, ZV De Zaan will play against the French water polo players from Lille in the Sloterparkbad in Amsterdam.

From a dry and windy North Holland we welcome you to the live blog. We will keep you informed of developments along the sports fields.
