It is the autumn holidays and in the library the man in front of me speaks to an older lady, assuming that she is an employee. “Can you help me?”

“I don’t work here,” the woman says snidely, “I’m here with my three annoying grandchildren.”

To which the man responds rather dryly: “Oh, do they look like you?”
