Women’s Bundesliga: Hoffenheim takes over the top of the table

In the women’s Bundesliga, TSG Hoffenheim, as expected, won confidently 3-0 (2-0) at the start of matchday 4 against pointless newcomers 1. FC Nürnberg and at least temporarily took over the top of the table.

Coach Stephan Lerch’s team overtook VfL Wolfsburg (9), who were still without a point loss, with ten points, but can overtake RB Leipzig again on Sunday (2 p.m.).

The Belgian Jill Janssens (23rd), Jana Feldkamp with a penalty kick (42nd) and Gia Corley (72nd) scored the goals for TSG, who have the best offensive in the league with 17 goals, on Friday in the Max Morlock Stadium. Bottom team Nuremberg, on the other hand, is still waiting to win its first point.
