It is the fifth OverKop House in our province. But for example in Bruges, Roeselare, Waregem or Veurne there is none yet. This must change, according to the competent minister Hilde Crevits. “There is certainly still room for additional OverKop houses. I will give an example in the Houtland first-line zone. There is nothing in Torhout yet, and there are still a number of them.”
The figures of the OverKop-Huis in Ostend confirm the success. Last year there were more than 270 activities that attracted 320 young people. 120 young people had a conversation with a psychologist.
