House of Guccithe review
Announced with great fanfare in 2020, House of Gucci received mixed reviews. What matters is the fact that the actors act in Italian English, along with other clichés for a film whose expectations were quite high. However, the reference target must be taken into consideration: House of Gucci it is designed for an international audience. And from this perspective the experiment could be considered successful.
The cast’s performance is overall good, with delightful (although certainly involuntary) camp drifts. Lady Gaga first and foremost, which creates a Patrizia Gucci determined and irasciblea sketch that looks like a cross between a soap opera heroine and shoulder pads from an 80s variety show.
