A dead woman was found in the ‘t Wasven forest area in Halsteren on Tuesday night. The police are investigating the identity of the woman and how she died. With regard to the latter, nothing can yet be ruled out, a police spokesperson said early on Wednesday.
On Tuesday evening, a 75-year-old woman in Halsteren was reported missing via Burgernet.
The police hope to be able to say later on Wednesday whether there is a possible connection between the two cases.
