Antalyaspor Club President Sabri Gülel stated that they decided to resign due to the problems with the association and foundation.
Stating that Antalyaspor has been having its best time recently, Gülel said, “We have made significant progress both financially, sportively and administratively. The whole of Turkey has seen what kind of a team we have created. We are appreciated. Antalyaspor A.Ş. has two owners; the foundation and the association. Our duty is They do not allow us to do it properly. That’s why we go to the general assembly and resign so that no harm will come to the team. We are very sorry for Antalya and Antalyaspor. We did very good things in 6.5 months. We reduced the debt from 800 million to 470 million. But it did not happen, this system needs to change. “We cannot compete at these levels. We don’t know much about the games from below. Such a decision has been made. May it be beneficial for everyone. The general assembly will be held on the 25th of this month. I will not be a candidate,” he said.
