HAMBURG (dpa-AFX) – After the temporary suspension of flight operations at Hamburg Airport due to a threat of attack on an Iranian plane, travelers must continue to expect delays. On Monday, the information boards still showed delays for departures and arrivals that were planned for the afternoon. Both domestic flights and flights to and from abroad were affected.
Flight operations were completely stopped at around 12.40 p.m. There were no take-offs or landings for around an hour and a half; incoming planes were diverted to Hanover, among other places.
In the early afternoon, the airport announced on its homepage that flight operations had resumed – although flight delays could still occur./fsp/DP/ngu
