The number of formerly non-professionally active job seekers increased by 55 percent in one year to 90,478. Job seekers with a benefit application fell by 3 percent to 105,535. Just under half of job seekers without work are job seekers with a benefit application, according to the Flemish labor mediator. This also concerns young people in the vocational integration period and the other category.
