The valuable cargo remained safely stored.
Late in the evening around 10:20 p.m. there was a rear-end collision on Axel-Springer-Straße near Schützenstraße (Kreuzberg). A heavy cash-in-transit truck drove into the rear of a car sharing driver.
According to initial findings, one person was treated in an ambulance. It is currently unknown whether she was transported to a hospital. There was extensive damage to both vehicles.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
