Someone was stabbed in Assen just after midnight. The stabbing incident happened in Kerkstraat.
According to the police, the injured person was checked by ambulance personnel. It is not clear whether the victim also had to be taken to the hospital.
No suspect has been arrested yet. A Burgernet report calls on people to be on the lookout for an “approximately 18-year-old dark man, wearing a red sweater and black pants.”
