Police operation on Thursday evening on Wichertstrasse in Prenzlauer Berg!
According to BZ information, a man threatened another person with a firearm around 6 p.m. The police then cordoned off a large area of Wichertstrasse and called in a special operations team.
At around 8:30 p.m., the elite officers overpowered the man in an apartment on Wichertstrasse, and he was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

It is still unclear why the man threatened the other person and what weapon it was.
All closures were lifted around 9 p.m. A specialist commissioner from the Berlin police is investigating.
