Lana Del Rey previously didn’t feel confident enough for TV shows

In the past, Lana Del Rey has only been seen performing live on television twice. In a current interview, the “Summertime Sadness” singer now explains what stopped her from further TV appearances.

“You know in your heart when the time is right. And it’s never been the right time [für das Fernsehen]. Maybe now even if I didn’t feel confident, I would still do it. “But there was a reason not to feel safe,” Del Rey tells The Hollywood Reporter.

We’re in good company.” The art-pop artist says she started at a time “when things were still very one-sided.” According to her, there is now much more room for different types of storytelling. You can also say completely different things and therefore develop more freely and individually.
