The majority of Belgians are happy. In the second quarter of this year, 65.4 percent of Belgians always (9.1 percent) or usually (56.3 percent) felt happy, the Belgian statistics service Statbel reports. But the regional differences are large. The Flemish is noticeably happier than the Brussels resident and also the Walloon, according to the figures from a survey of 5,000 fellow countrymen.
