The two largest shopping centers in Austria, the Westfield Shopping City Süd and the Westfield Donau Zentrum, both operated by Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield in Vienna, are jointly launching the live shopping format “Westfield Extra Live”.
Retailers and brands interact live with online communities on the centers’ social media channels and on their websites, present products and offer interactive communication and exclusive discounts. The first live streams will take place on September 28th and October 6th, 2023 and will last around 45 minutes each. Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield emphasizes the opportunity for shop partners to now present their products and interact with their target groups in this way. “With our live shopping format, we offer our shop partners a new and innovative opportunity to not only present their products and innovations to the huge online communities of Westfield Shopping City Süd and Westfield Donau Zentrum, but also to interact with them.” says Aurélie Desbois, Head of Marketing Austria & Germany at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. “It underlines our position as an innovation leader in Austria and Europe and gives our shop partners new access to their target groups.”
The Westfield Shopping City Süd, which is located south of Vienna, is the largest shopping center in Austria with a sales area of 198,500 square meters and 330 shops. The Westfield Donau Zentrum is located in the middle of Vienna and is the largest shopping center in the city.
