ANALYSIS. War in Europe. That’s what happens when reality doesn’t matter anymore

What lessons can we already draw from the war that the Russians have started? That eight decades after the Second World War, Europe is still not immune to gun violence? That being a pacifist is beautiful, but perhaps also a bit naive? And that we are asking for trouble when we make ourselves dependent on dubious regimes — energy supplies, raw materials and cheap labour? All correct. But the first thing that should dawn on us now is the deadly threat of fake news.
