An argument in Hellersdorf ended with a man suffering gunshot wounds.
The brutal incident occurred late Saturday afternoon on Schneeberger Strasse. First, around 5:30 p.m., several men attacked each other with baseball bats. A group is said to have stormed an apartment, where one man was injured by a gunshot and another by jumping out of the window.
Two men were arrested around 9 p.m. that evening. One of the men had paper bags placed over his hands to protect any traces of smoke. Both were transported to a prison collection center.
A specialist commissioner from the Berlin police is investigating. The offense is dangerous bodily harm.
