UN Security Council to hold extraordinary meeting over Ukraine

The UN Security Council will meet for an extraordinary meeting at the request of Ukraine, reported permanent representation of Russia on Twitter.

The meeting will begin at 21:30 New York time (5:30 Moscow time).

With a request to hold a meeting of the UN Security Council, Kiev turned on the night of February 24. This happened because of “the appeal of the Russian occupation administrations in Donetsk and Luhansk to Russia with a request to provide them with military assistance,” explained Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.

The heads of the DPR and LPR asked Putin to help repel the aggression of Ukraine

On the eve of the head of the DPR and LPR, Denis Pushilin and Leonid Pasechnik asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to help repel the aggression of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donbass. According to them, this will help to avoid casualties among civilians and the humanitarian catastrophe that can occur due to shelling of critical infrastructure.
