The response measures of the Russian Foreign Ministry will not be long in coming if the UK implements threats in relation to the Russian media. This was stated by the official representative of the diplomatic department Maria Zakharova.
Earlier, the British authorities instructed media regulator Ofcom to revise the license of the RT channel to broadcast in Britain. RT said Ofcom has never questioned the validity of the channel’s license.

Previously in Berlin banned broadcasting German edition of RT. In response to this, the Foreign Ministry stopped accrediting all employees of the German television and radio company Deutsche Welle in Russia.
