A motorist was seriously injured late this afternoon after he left the road and crashed into a tree. The accident happened on Helvoirtsestraat in Helvoirt.
The motorist came with his car from the direction of Cromvoirt. He lost control and crashed into a tree on the right side of the road. The car came to a stop on the other side of the road.
Bystanders removed the victim from the car. An ambulance took the victim to the hospital.
