The second-hand marketplace Vinted continues to expand into the Nordic countries and is now opening its platform to customers in Denmark as well.
The Lithuania-based company has been active in Denmark since this week, Vinted announced on Wednesday. Exceptions are Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
“We are thrilled to bring Vinted’s unique platform to Denmark,” says Adam Jay, CEO of Vinted Marketplace. “We found that sustainability is a key concern for people in Denmark: while many people make second-hand purchases for financial and financial reasons, 44 percent of the Danes we surveyed choose used to shop sustainably.”
Vinted only expanded into Sweden last year and is now already active in the second Nordic market.
