The Prada Group has appointed Rosa Santamaria Maurizio to the role of Chief People Officer (CPO).

She started this role earlier this month at the Italian luxury fashion group, which owns the main brand of the same name, Miu Miu, Church’s, Car Shoe and Marchesi, Prada announced on Wednesday. In this role, Santamaria Maurizio will report directly to Group CEO Andrea Guerra.

According to the statement, the new CPO should actively participate in the cultural and organizational change of the group and ensure the further development of the HR department. She has already gained experience in human resources in various industries, most recently as Chief Human Resources Officer at the Italian fashion house Valentino. Other stations were the financial service provider American Express, the pharmaceutical company Bristol Myers Squibb and the auditor Ernst & Young, where she began her career.
