Cars set on fire: One of the perpetrators appears to have been injured

Two car fires in Heesch that followed each other within a few days may have been started by the same three perpetrators. That’s what the police think. The possible perpetrators were recorded on camera images, which were shown on Monday evening in Bureau Brabant. It appears that one of the perpetrators was injured in the fires.

In the car fire on Wednesday 9 August in Julianastraat, the fire brigade was barely able to prevent the fire from spreading to a house. In the night of 13 to 14 August, a delivery van completely burned out on Ostrich Grass.

Bureau Brabant shows images of the perpetrators in the first fire. It concerns three cyclists who go to Julianastraat. Along the way, it seems as if they transferred something to each other. It’s hard to see in the pictures. Moments later, the car was on fire.

The trio can be seen again on other camera images. You can also hear the voices. One of the perpetrators says: “I have cancer pain, boy!” and “What happened?” One of them appears to have been injured.

Only a photo is available of the second car fire. The police are looking for people who recognize one or more perpetrators.
