Torhout buries time capsule for fifty years

To make it easy to find the time document later, the capsules are buried two meters deep next to the portal of St. Peter’s Church. The last works to refresh Torhout took place on that site. It took two years to give the city center a new look. The time capsule is intended to give residents an idea of ​​the current situation in 2023 in fifty years’ time. All students of the five secondary schools in Torhout took care of the contents of the tubes.
