Athlete Femke Bol has won the 400 meters at indoor athletics competitions in Torun, Poland. With the winning time of 50.64 seconds, she was only one hundredth away from her Dutch record. It was also the best world annual performance. In the same race Lieke Klaver finished in fourth place with 51.93.
Pole vaulter Menno Vloon, finished in fourth place with a height of 5.71 meters. Earlier this winter, he jumped 5.86 meters, good for qualification for the World Indoor Championships. Rutger Koppelaar (5.61 meters) finished sixth and did not yet meet the limit.
The Dutch team for the World Indoor Championships in Belgrade, from March 18 to 20, now consists of eighteen athletes.
