Tragic accident in Berlin-Friedrichsfelde. A 5-year-old boy fell from the ninth floor of a skyscraper near the zoo. The boy later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
First the rbb had reported about it. The police received the call around 1 p.m. The seriously injured child was taken to a hospital, but later succumbed to his injuries.
How exactly the fall happened is still unclear. The police spoke of a “tragic accident”.
There is a suspicion of violation of the duty of supervision, a police spokeswoman told rbb. Rescue workers and pastors looked after the relatives on site.
