What was that last week in Today Inside? Was Wilfred Genee just copying Yvonne Coldeweijer? It came with a generous portion dirt about Martien Meiland… “Sad!”
It has actually never happened before in Today Inside: the presenter on duty who plays a kind of Life of Yvonne. What Life of Wilfred had to say? That SBS 6 colleague Martien Meiland is ‘guilty’ of parking *ks. That is in the new book by Valérie Lempereur, who is friends with Wilfred Genee.
‘Very sad’
Valérie has recorded the experiences of the ‘exiled family friend’ of the Meilandjes, Caroline van Eeden, and that parking lot*ks story is part of it. Martien reacts very cleverly to this after a few days of radio silence – he says that he ‘laughed very hard’ – but isn’t Wilfred going too far with this?
Maarten Bloem, until recently the editor-in-chief of the profound magazine Playboy, thinks so. He strongly criticizes X for this action by the presenter. “Sad that Genee thinks this is news.”

Nathalie says that she does not like the Martien bashing in Today Inside. “I think this is kind of making fun of gay people and it doesn’t feel right. He’s not hurting anyone, is he? I am not a fan or viewer of the Meilandjes.”
Not believable
Jan Dijkgraaf, the biographer of the Meilandjes, reacts just as smartly as Martien. He states that the book sales of the Meilandjes are on the rise due to all this fuss. “Just ordered the fifth edition of ‘Maxime’ from the printer. Thanks, Wilfred Genee”, he writes on X today.
According to one Nina, these reactions are not really credible. “It’s none of anyone’s business, but don’t say you were completely devastated. It’s never fun when something like this comes out. You can say you were shocked. The fact that you were in a dent is very unbelievable. At least with me…”
Nauseous
Wilfred has not said a word about this whole situation after his revelation in the Thursday VI. It is not clear whether he has had a slap on the wrist internally, because Martien is also a Talpa star.
According to Mrs. Dirkje, one thing is certain: that house friend Caroline is a leftover aunt. She writes on X: “What kind of sick person are you if, as a good friend, you know intimate details of someone’s sex life and then put them in a book? Had to get rid of it.”
