The star of the Hannah Montana series that gained popularity in the early 2000s Mitchell Musso, 32, has been arrested on suspicion of theft and public intoxication in Texas. He is suspected of stealing a bag of chips.
NBC’s the alleged crime happened last Saturday in Rockwall.
Rockwall Police received a report of a disturbance at a local hotel. The informant told the police that a heavily intoxicated person had entered the hotel, grabbed a bag of crisps and started eating its contents. When he was asked to pay for the chips, he began insulting the hotel staff in a rude manner and finally left the hotel without paying.
The police caught him outside the hotel and arrested him on suspicion of public intoxication and theft.

The police identified the suspect as Musso. He was locked in a cell overnight, but was released the next day on $1,000 (approx. 924 euros) bail.
The criminal record showed that Musso was wanted for several traffic violations. He is also accused of fleeing the trial.
Musso has previously been arrested for drunk driving in California in 2011.
Musso is best known for his role as Oliver Oken in the Disney Channel TV series Hannah Montana. The main role of the series was played by Miley Cyrus.
He has also voiced Jeremy Johnson in the Finias and Ferb animated series.
His brother Mason Musso is the singer of the band Metro Station.
