A Nissan Micra crashed on the city highway on Friday morning. As a result, the A100 had to be closed in a southerly direction during rush hour!
Shortly after 6 a.m., the traffic information center reported the accident near the Rathenauplatz tunnel. For the evacuation, the A100 had to be closed from the Halenseestraße exit and drivers had to exit.
For them it meant taking a detour via Rathenauplatz.
A long traffic jam formed in rush hour traffic, reaching from the city freeway all the way back to the A111!
Motorists needed a lot of patience before the blockage could be lifted again shortly before 7 a.m. It may take a while before the traffic jam clears.
According to initial findings, a Nissan Micra landed on the driver’s side in the accident. An inmate is said to have been injured – how badly it was not initially known.
