Christina Hering apparently came to Budapest in top form for the season’s highlight. Pole vault – Ladwig is eliminated in the qualification

The 24-year-old Gillian Ladwig did not make it into the pole vault final on Saturday (08/26/2023) in his first World Cup participation. In the qualification, the Schweriner jumped 5.35 m, but then broke the bar three times at 5.55 m. The Kaschstan-born World Cup fifth place Oleg Zernikel from ASV Landau, on the other hand, already jumped the 5.55 m in the ongoing qualification and is lying thus on course for the final – the same applies to world record holder Armand Duplantis from Sweden.
