Companies in Ecuador can hardly meet the demand for bullet-resistant cars

Criminal violence is one of the main themes in the Ecuadorian election campaign, especially after the assassination of presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio. Society is also fully arming itself against crime and violence. According to the Ecuadorian newspaper ‘El Universo’, the demand for bulletproof cars in the South American country has increased to such an extent that companies that armor cars can barely meet the demand.
