False alarm: no prisoners escaped from Bruges prison

Witnesses said they saw two people on the roof of the prison. The police immediately turned out en masse for a manhunt. Code red was in effect in the prison itself. No one was allowed in or out. Not even lawyers and jailers. But a count of the detainees showed that no one was missing. The police are now investigating whether the report was a joke.
