The new auditorium named after the master Zubin Mehta
The new auditorium of the Florentine Maggio Musicale – built in 900 days with 1,100 seats – is named after maestro Zubin Mehta. Technologically advanced, it ensures the best acoustic perception and versatility of use. Starting from the fact that the stage can be transformed into an orchestra pit. Furthermore, it is possible to lower the curtain and the harlequin from above. The choir space can be transformed into seats for the public and can host from chamber concerts to operas or lectures.
