“Plyushkin’s syndrome” could cause death of three people

In Moscow, employees of the Investigative Committee are investigating the causes of the fire, which claimed the lives of three people. Last night, an apartment in a house on Kavkazsky Boulevard caught fire. The bodies of two women were found at the scene of the emergency. Another man died when he tried to escape and jumped out of a window from a height of the fifth floor.

Soot on the windows. They will probably need to be replaced. Now the consequences of a fire in the south of the capital are being eliminated by utilities. The apartment on the last – fifth – floor was on fire. The so-called rough repair has already been carried out – the burning layer has been removed. Workers are engaged in wiring. The entire entrance was de-energized. But on the lower floors, the light had already been given.

Investigators also have a lot of work. They will have to restore the picture of what happened. A criminal case was initiated. Neighbors are being questioned. After all, we are talking about the death of people – these are three residents of a modest kopeck piece. The incident is under the control of the Moscow prosecutor’s office.

“It was established that on January 4, 2022, a fire broke out in an apartment in a residential building on Kavkazsky Boulevard, after the liquidation of which the bodies of two women were found. Another man born in 1982, fleeing the fire, jumped from a height of the 5th floor. , – said Lyudmila Nefedova, head of the press service of the Moscow prosecutor’s office.

Neighbors call their names: pensioner Valentina Ivanovna, her son Vladimir and his partner Galina.

“He still unsuccessfully jumped out and hit either the steps or the concrete fences. There was a lot of smoke, and flames were visible. Maybe the janitors were running around the apartments, knocking so that everyone would get out,” said neighbor Elena Shevchuk.

It is known that the area of fire was 20 square meters. That is, a significant part of a two-room apartment. According to preliminary data, personal belongings and furniture caught fire. And, judging by the footage taken immediately after the rescuers dealt with the fire, they did not care much about fire safety here. The room is cluttered. Packages, rags, equipment. Household rubble has significantly complicated the work of employees Ministry of Emergency Situations… They can be seen making their way through the accumulated debris to complete the spill. Local residents say that the deceased man suffered from the so-called “Plyushkin syndrome”.

– They were a little weird. And the son was always dragging, bringing what he found. We sometimes swore that it smelled strong. Rubbish heap.

Perhaps the piles of things did not allow the owners to quickly leave the apartment. But it is obvious that even the slightest spark of faulty wiring or an inaccurately extinguished cigarette butt would be enough to ignite a pile of debris. To establish the exact reason, a fire-technical examination will be appointed.
