Schiaparelli opens first store on the US West Coast

French luxury fashion house Schiaparelli opens its first West Coast store and moves to Los Angeles.

The permanent store is located in the Beverly Hills store of US retailer Neiman Marcus Group and was designed by Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry and architect Daniel Romualdez, the French luxury brand announced on Friday.

Spread over two floors, the shop invites you into Schiaparelli’s surrealistic world of inspiration and houses ready-to-wear, evening wear, leather goods, jewelery and accessories. Design elements are inspired both by the brand’s Parisian atelier in Place Vendôme and by artists such as Jean Michel Frank, Alberto Giacometti and Salvador Dali, who have already shaped the label’s collections.

“Our presence in Los Angeles has exploded thanks to the amazing moments we’ve had working with celebrities and stylists in Los Angeles,” said creative director Daniel Roseberry. “I’m thrilled that Schiaparelli ready-to-wear is now accessible to more people who love the brand and want to be a part of what we’re building here.”

Neiman Marcus and Schiaparelli’s partnership dates back to 1940 when the retail group presented Schiaparelli founder Elsa Schiaparelli with ‘Neiman Marcus Awards for Distinguished Service in the Field of Fashion’. The brand’s first store outside of Paris followed in 2021 at the group’s New York department store Bergdorf Goodman, followed by a store at Neiman Marcus in Dallas. A third location follows with the boutique in Los Angeles.

“Neiman Marcus Group is proud to have the largest Schiaparelli presence of any retailer in the world and it is a privilege to present such a sought-after brand to our customers in a new market,” said Geoffroy van Raemdonck, CEO of Neiman Marcus Group.
